If you only joined the company for a green card, then what were you doing all these years when your employer kept your documents and did not file. Why didn't you quit the job....If not more, you are to be equally blamed for the situation you are currently in....I understand your frustration, take a deep breath and move on.....Good luck....

Guys ! ! ! ! AT this stage let's take all the help we get from any possible source. Although i agree that Murthy is trying to stab in to the fame/sucess in this fabulous effort by IV, but it's better to add on more Voices to this cause...

Afterall they are just your body's parents, and you use toilet paper for your body. But God is the supreme parent of everyone.
Do not just pass comments on Gods of any religion just because you do not have the ability to respect other's faith and feelings.

can we start mass web faxing USCIS for rule change?
Now we are talking....first we need green signal from Core Team and request them to make fax for USCIS. Once we have fax, then we will fax this latter to USCIS same day. I hope once 6000 member fax this letter to USCIS same day then we will see some action from them too and we will be in media.
I will also say that Core Team should sell this fax to its member for $10. If everymember pay $10 for this letter and if we are 6000 then it will be $ 60,000 for IV which will be very nice funds for IV.
All we want from USCIS that allow us to file I-485 or allow us to file EAD or AP so we can have some freedom of travel and job change and it will also help USCIS to start name check ahead of time and that will also cut their processing time to process I-485.

I'm getting confused on the date part after reading various posts.
Is it mandatory to wait for 180 days after I140 to port your PD from an old I140 to a new I140(with a different company) ?
To change jobs and continue the same GC process I believe one has to complete at-least 1180 days in I485 stage. However in this stage the new job title and responsibilities should be same

I went to a wine shop and was shocked to see cartoon of Ganesha used on the bottle of India Pale Beer. I am not a religious person but this thing made me nervous. Please let me know how this can be protested.

hey - My July's EAD app was my 3rd and I filed up the date and details of just the 2nd EAD.
Mine was a paper App - I filled and then printed the form. They approved it after 76 days.
, mailed it after 87 days and I got got EAD at hand in 91 days.
Didn't provide any details about 1st EAD ... they can easily find it out - if needed :)
I am trying to self file I765, I want to paperfile since I don't want to go for photos and other stuff to the Uscis center. My lawyer has filed my earlier applications for employment authorization and parole. He has filled all my previous employment authorization dates on the I765 forms, however I cannot fill more than 2 dates on the I765 forms, do I convert the form into word and fill it and reconvert it back? I have to file next week, please help.

I was not aware of any conference call being organized by IV, otherwise I would have certainly been there, for I really believe quarterly spillover can ease a lot of our pain and can be a good starting point to re-galvanize the community.
I think IV leadership should show the way here so that there is a chance we might see quarterly spillover in the January Bulletin. First it was the USCIS and now its the DOS that we need to wake from its slumber.
